No-one hurt too badly this time, so we can play the game. I’m going with Vauxhall Astra because a) door mirrors and b) stupidity. Apparently the driver went straight across a t-junction where they didn’t have priority because their sat-nav told them to keep going straight on.

Five people were hurt in a car crash when a motorist apparently ignored road signs to give way at a junction - because their sat-nav said to drive straight on.
Ugh, cars are too safe. We can’t evolve as long as we keep the dumbs alive.

A broken one.

Did the Astra ever have the mirrors on the door like that though?
Edit: Just noticed the side indicators.. on the “foot” of the Mirror.. that is a Citroën.. a C4 or a C3 perhaps..
Edit 2: Look at the front of the door, the angle where the door should meet the a-pillar.. it’s a C4 I’d say.

Pff that shit is mint. Minor cosmetic damage, it'll buff out.

I agree totally.

Spherical coolant reservoir makes me thing VW/Seat/Skoda, etc.
On a side note, I’ve never seen a hood skin completely remove itself like that. Curious as to where that ended up...

To be fair, four were in the car which was hit - and the stupid driver was the one who ended up in hospital.

Yes, modern Vauxhalls have the door-mounted mirrors, it was the thing I was going with. The Citroens also have door-mounted mirrors, but the puddle light’s in a different place.
Could be a 5-door Corsa:

But on the Corsa the door ends where that small black “pillar” is on the window, the small triangular window (is that called a quarterlight?) is connected to the A pillar.. on the C4 it’s not.

Yeah, I noticed the missing bonnet as well. You can sort of see how it might have been squeezed off and up in the air.

Yorkshire, hmmm…
Was the driver too busy shouting “MORE SPEEEEEEEED!” to notice the signs?

Could be an Astra - but now I look more, you’re clearly right about it being a C4.

PUG 207?

The door trim isn't right for a C4. I'm pretty sure it's a Peugeot 308 (1st gen). The mirror shape is correct, as is the door trim and the sculpting in the upper part of the door.

These blinkers in the mirrors are funky, don’t think I’ve ever seen them before. Must be something that isn’t sold here in the US.

It’s odd, since I posted this I’ve been noticing them on loads of cars - some that have been around for a few years.
